The song most people arrive through. It is built on almost nothing — a guitar figure, a vocal, and restraint — and that emptiness is precisely what leaves room for the listener's own life to move in. The video, shot in Cairo by Mahesh Mathai, was the first Indian pop video filmed outside India; the woman in blue was Lucky Ali's own wife, pulled in because the crew was short on cast. It held near the top of the MTV Asia charts for sixty weeks.
